What do you do to ensure a safe camp experience? Changemaker is a "SAFE-organisation", you can read more about what that entails here (in Norwegian) or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide more information in English.
Every Changemaker-event has an appointed person that is responsibel for the SAFE-program. They make sure everyone feels safe at the summercamp.
We have a thorough contingency-plan for the event. The reponsible adults will all have certifications in first-aid on land and several employees have a first-aid course in water.
I have bad assosiations with Utøya
We understand that some of you might have bad assosciations with Utøya. We have a team that participants can speak to at any time. We are here for you!
We will arrange a voluntary, collective trip to the memorial for those who wish to join. The trip is guided by personell. If you wish to take the trip to the memorial by yourself, we will also make room for that.
We wish to acknowledge and remember Utøya for what it is - a place to root burning passion for a better world!
